The Devil’s Double is less entertainment than it is dirty laundry of Sadamm Hussein’s family

The Devil’s Double is based on the autobiography of Latif Yahia the man who was hired, or forced, to work as the live-in double for Uday Saddam Hussein, son of Saddam Hussein.  Uday is portrayed as the more corrupt, petulant, self indulgent son, whom many feared for his unpredictable, psychopathic behaviour
Pulled out of duty during the Persian Gulf War in 2003, the Iraqi officer Latif returns home only to be delivered straight to the Hussein mansion for a lucrative job offer.  With the lure of extravagance which is the Hussein …

After the last couple X-Men flops, this film is sure to win back fans and then some.  Instead of relying on A-list names and special effects for box office draw, X-Men First Class can stand on its own as a legit action suspense-thriller which just happens to have a superhero back-story.   Writer Bryan Singer and co-writer/Director Matthew Vaughn have created a smart, stylish prequel that deserves summer blockbuster status for 2011.

I was very surprised when I heard they were making a Hangover sequel. How could you top the original? It had everything a modern screwball comedy caper could ask for: cast chemistry, stellar cameos, a bumpin soundtrack, a deliciously random plotline and the memorable ‘Wolf pack’ poem. Well obviously it can’t be topped, and suffice it to say, they didn’t really try to. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” applies to the storyline of this sequel. It’s basically a re-do of the original, only in Thailand, with a monkey …

Being on the otherside of the Interview with TheVantage.ca

After months of being an Interviewer for the articles I write for this site, it was a pleasure and  honor to be asked to do a photo shoot and be the  interviewee for a feature in TheVantage.ca .
